Meet Dr. Jenny Brinson
Dr. Jenny Brinson is a Montana native and veterinarian who has spent her career caring for animals and the people who love them. After graduating from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, she began her career as a dairy and food-animal veterinarian in California’s Central Valley. For several years, she worked closely with dairy farmers and their animals, gaining valuable experience in herd health and food-animal medicine while developing a deep appreciation for the bond between farmers and their animals.
Over time, Dr. Brinson found herself especially drawn to one of the most meaningful parts of veterinary medicine—helping families through the final chapter of their pet’s life. She discovered a passion for end-of-life care and for giving pets a peaceful, comfortable passing in the place they feel safest: at home with their family.
That passion led her to start The Peaceful Journey, where she is honored to help families navigate one of the hardest moments of pet ownership with compassion, patience, and dignity.
After many years in California, Dr. Brinson and her family moved to North Carolina to be closer to extended family. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and their animals, gardening, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
